Went out to one of my favorite haunts and found this dog sleeping on a dike 900 yds. away. Crept down the low bluff i was glassing from and got to the closest rise, and set up. Leicas gave me a range of 470 and i placed the V16's 3 MOA reticle system at 2.4 units down. At the shot he rolled up all 4's in the air, and rolled back struggling to get up. He found his legs for a second or so and fell off the back of the dike. 65 SGK took him at the point of the shoulder facing me, and stayed inside. Hide wasn't any good but the tail was so i took it.
