Jeff decided to make a beer bottle opener from a spent 50 cal case. One can only assume that he got thirsty at work and was without proper tactical equipment by his side.

Introducing the high speed low drag, (not airport approved) bottle opener:

There was a guy selling these on the Hide not too long ago for $15...they are awesome and will last forever. Jeff's version has some fancy workmanship!

This! I was actually hoping this was the same guy that sold them before because they are great... but I screwed up and gave all 5 I bought away as gifts. All 5 are still being used after 3 years... I've tried stealing one back and just can't get it done!

Nice job here!

I guess it depends on the availability of brass and bullets. To recoup the money we would probably have to sell them for $20-$25. brass isn't cheap and it's hard to get right now along with the bullets. Jeff's version is a little nicer than the standard cut on one. We'll run them all through the CNC. If you guys are really interested we'll check the price and availability and get an accurate price.

I could probably find uses for at least 3, especially if they were in the $20.00 range or a little lower......

I would definitely be down for two, depending on price. I showed a coworker the other one that was for sale before Christmas and told him I was going to order him one, then the thread got closed, so I assume that deal was done.

I purchased several from the guy who sold them on hear 2-3 years ago. They still work excellent after repeated use and abuse. These look a bit sharper than the ones I have. Great conversation piece.
