410gr .69 RB has about the BC of a 45gr .22. Turns out spherical is a very stable, and that’s about all it’s good for. Cept meby shootin Yankees at 100 yards.

The army made a little whoopsie with their calculations for their 155s they were practicing with on the training range near my house when I was a kid.

They proceeded to yeet 2 x 155mm rounds OVER A FUCKING MOUNTAIN to the town on the other side and execute a perfect fire mission on some old man's clothesline in his back yard.

Thankfully they were training rounds so they didn't go bang, but the army did have to come dig the projectiles out of his yard and fill in the holes.

They are too heavy, not accurate enough

Fun for 15-20 range trips but after all your family and friends shoot it a few times it collects dust or gets sold

Would much rather have a bofors or a twin bofors on a mobile mount. Save some of the ones that are in parks. That would be more fun. Quads are nice but need a bigger family to be able to run one.
