Hello all. I just joined and hope I am not breaking any rules by posting. The 50 THUMPER is a Winchester Short Magnum case cut off at the neck with a .510 dia. bullet stuffed in it. I did come up with this cartridge because the .510 Whisper is so expensive to make cases for. I designed this on the K.I.S.S. principle. It can be loaded for less then $1 per round with new cases. We are currently working up a couple of different loads and will have loaded ammo available for those who don't reload.
The HAWG is our custom Remington 700 blueprinted action with a 1-9.5" twist barrel. The recoil is less then a .308. The suppressor uses a monolithic stack which can be fully dissassembled for cleaning. This means you can shoot cast bullets without worrying about cloging up your suppressor.
I will keep an eye on this thread and try to answer everyones questions or just drop me a line.

We are currently getting dies made. We are only offering complete rifles at this point. Once we get some help and a bigger place we will probably offer barrel and chambering of customers guns.

Yesterday we got a chance to take the 50 THUMPER out and shoot it out to 500 yards. We sighted it in at 100 yards then just held over for the drop out to 500 yards. We were able to get a 2 MOA group at 500 yards. Now before everyone gets on me saying thats lousy let me describe the rifle. The rifle is a post 64 Winchester Model 70 with a 14", 9.5" twist barrel that is integrally suppressed. We took the factory plastic stock and howged it out for the suppressor tube and screwed the barreled action in with no bedding what so ever. We mounted a fixed 4 power Pentex Gameseeker scope on it and started shooting.
Once I get a proper stock on it and bedded properly it will shoot much better. I on the other hand probably will not.

Here is some pictures of our new 338 THUMPER™. 225 gr.-300gr. will be subsonic and we are hoping to push the 160 gr. to about 2000 fps.

What is the parent case of the 338 thumper,
btw any one else having thought a long the way of a small rabbit also known as Thumper
I really like the 50 Thump and would love to have one, perhaps if I do good at work this year I might have earned myself one.
