50's and 60's TV shows

Only 96 percent... but I'd never heard of Bachelor Father... one other got me. Many were stupendously simple. I mean... when there is a picture of a kid and a collie, can you really think you are looking at The Jetsons or Gomer Pyle? That said, they got in about every TV show I can think of . And I watched them in reruns in the '70s!

Best shows of that era (for me?) were Get Smart and The Beverly Hillbillies. "Havisham!"

Cheers and thanks for posting!

Weellll, Faversham to you, Major Domo!

What can I say? I'm a sucker for old school shows. Sure beats the crap that's on TV nowadays!

49/50; Edgar Buchanan, Petticoat Junction got me. Nobody watched it at our house.

We had a TV in 1949. But with three sons and no daughters, we tended to go a bit light on the Chicky-Flicky shows.

I've never held a job working for a woman that I didn't get fired from. I guess it's because of my natural charm...
