I like neck sizing, However, Lee does not make a specific 6.5x47 collet die, they do make a 260 Remington die. Are these interchangeable?

I neck size 30-06 and 300wm with the same die, I think they are caliber specific (bullet diameter) more so than case specific. That said, you might want to look at the neck dimensions for both cases and see if they are truly interchangeable.

I like to neck size too, as you know, it has two main parts,the collect and the rod.I think the collect would be o.k. the rod may need to be larger or smaller. I would call LEE ask them make you a rod.The 260 rod may work,just another option.

I don't think they will work because the base of the collect has to make contact with the case holder in order to start squeezing the brass on the mandrel. The headspace between 65x47 and 260 different. You would end up hitting the collect with the 260's shoulder before it touched the case holder.
I could be wrong...
You can also have them make a custom one for you for around 70.00. they just need 3 fired cases from your gun.

i used my 308 lee collet die to make loads for a 7.62x54 R , the two cartridges are nearly identical except the 54R was .100 longer then 308 , so i place a spacer over the 54r case when sizing and it worked out pretty well.
how different are the shoulders on the 65x47 lapua compared to the 260 ? if they are similar it might work out.

Get a redding neck bushing die. I have used one for the 6.5x47L and found it to make great ammo.
