6 Creedmoor with new Lapua brass

Currently doing initial load development for a FO mid-range rifle. Berger 105 HB with H4350, H1000 and R-26. So far best results with R-26 followed by H1000. Still in the process of tuning the loads and getting rounds down the tube. Barrel is a Bartlein 32" 1:7.5 with a .185 freebore. H1000 and R-26 provide the best fill ratio and lowest ES without compressing the load. H4350 would probably work well with a freebore shorter that .185. H4350 showed some promise with lower SD's at 42.0 grains but MV (3220 fps) was out of the node and some over pressure was noted

R-26 43.5 gr. 3070 MV
H1000 45.5 gr 3080 MV
COAL 2.805

No pressure signs observed at these charge weights.

Loaded 50 rounds with 43.5 gr of R-26 for a 1000 yd BR match that was held this morning shooting three 5 shot groups for record. Considering the very limited load development at this point and only having shot the rifle out to 200 yards, I was pleased with the results. First two groups for record were 8" with the rifle settling down with the third group measuring 5" with a 50-0X. Next step will be to test around the 43.5 node and play with seating depth to shrink the group sizes.

I am now running h1000 @ 46.8 gr with a 107 MK pushing them 3165 for. In lapua 6.5 Creedmoor cases. Super flat and good groups. No pressure signs in my rifle.

Promote,
What barrel length are you running to get those velocities? I'm currently running H-1000 in a 243 Ackley and getting similar velocities with a 26" tube. If I can get the same performance with H1000 in the 6 Creedmoor without fireforming or hydroforming I think it would be worth it for me to switch. Sorry if I'm hijacking the thread. That is really not my intention. I'm just trying to get a little more info to compare loads. Thank you.

I am running a 26in 4 groove Krieger. I think I won the fast barrel lottery. Though ill know more when I shoot out this one and replace it.
