I have been looking into building a long range rifle for competition and coyote hunting, but I am stuck between these two cartridges. I will most likely be shooting at 600 yards maximum. If I get the 6br norma I'm getting a pac nor barrel with 1:8 twist and 28in long and same with creedmoor. Also opinions on manners stocks?

6 norma br vs 6.5 creedmoor?

A BR won't feed 100%. They feed pretty well out of the 5 round mags, but not well enough to shoot a match with. So, thats a pretty easy decision. I would also look at some other barrel manufacturers.
For those distances, why not just a 243win or a 308win? Having said that, I have a 6.5 Creedmoor and I've pretty much abandoned all my other calibers to shoot the 6.5cm exclusively. Unless of course, I'm reaching out pass 1000 yards to 1600 yards then I pull out my 7wsm.
Everyone has a preference on one caliber or another. The 6.5 Creedmoor is awesome in my opinion. It feeds well from a magazine and shoots reliability from a semiauto. It can be loaded hot in the right rifle for performance similar to a 6.5x284. I'm shooting the 142smk in my 6.5cm at 3000fps without pressures signs or compressed load, but that is a hot load.
The recoil is going to be a little more then a 6mm caliber, but the splash is more at distance too. For hunting most non-thick skinned game in North America, the 6.5 creedmoor is more than adequate at reasonable distances.

My most accurate rifle is a 6mmbr....There is nothing more accurate at 600 yards, but....its a single shot for a reason. 
The 6.5X47, 260, and the Creedmore are all great choices, feed well, and are better in the windy conditions.

I have been looking at krieger barrels but pac nor is in my state, but its on the other side of the state
I didn't have much problem getting my br to feed. Used a hs stock and cdi dbm at first, had them on hand, worked good with a modified 223 mag. The 223 mag holds 6 or 7 rds. I also got a 10rd 308 mag to work perfectly. Used an ar mag follower with about 30seconds of filing and an ak spring cut down. Made a delrin spacer that goes at the rear of the mag. Feeds good in hs/cdi and aics. Savage action with a criterion 26" gets 105 hybrids up to 2915.
I think you would be foolish not to build a 6 BR for varmint type shooting. Absolute lasers. My buddy dominated the 1000yd matches this year with his, even going up against the 6.5x284s and 7wsms. At 600yds it would be a fucking joke if you didnt do well. Excellent bullet selection too.
6BR's are super easy to load for and super accurate as well. I have 3 of them and love them. Get a 26" or 28" 8 twist barrel, shoot 105 Berger's or 107 SMK's, Varget or RL15 powder with CCI 450's and be done.
Nothing wrong withe Pac Nor barrels. I have had several along with about every other one out there. Their customer service is top notch and their barrels have all been great shooters. I have one on my 308 right now. I have the 6BRX and have had the 6BR its a great round and easy to get to shoot. I went with a BRX to see how they would do at 1000yds. I am on my 4th 260 barrel as we speak and love them too. For what you want go with a BR. My BRX feeds great out of a stock Remington box magazine. It would be fine for hunting. I tried the modified fowler with the .223 spacer and it sucked. The stock one works fine.
Yep! I second that. I have two of their 308 barrel. One a Polygon and another a 3 grove 12 twist on my 308. Both shoots light out.
Another vote for PacNor barrels. I've had a couple and they have been great barrels. Plus, Chris and the folks at PacNor are good people.
I own rifles in 6BR and 6.5CM but they are totally different purpose built rifles. The 6BR is a great 600 yard benchrest round but for everyday shooting a good precision rifle in 6.5CM cannot be beat.
So, for an overall performer, I would go 6.5CM.

On paper targets and steel my 6 br just barely outdoes my 2 creedmoors as far as drop and drift. Energy on target is a different story. My br brass has 19-20 reloads on, pretty sure not too many other cartridges can provide that life span, also since powder supply is tight it is nice to use 15-18 gr less per rd then my 6.5cm,260,&243 fast twist. I got along best with br4 and h4895 with hybrids and 107 smk.
I'll opt for 6BR. I've just finished building one for same purpose you have in mind.

Desert Fox can you give us some details about your gun? I'm wondering about the bottom metal and magazine, as well as the action and how well it feeds. Who did the gunsmithing?

I have the Surgeon Bottoms with AI mag for 308. It will feed from the magazine but once in a while it will throw brass back into the chamber during extraction. I might install a Sako extractor and see if that will solve the problem.
Never shot the 6br but have been shooting the 6.5 Creedmoor in matches for the past 5 years and it's never let me down. Factory ammo is all I have used in matches and it's very accurate. Loading for the Creedmoor is also very easy. Great round that alot of people have been finding and been very happy with over the past few years.
