Are there any custom actions like the surgeon that have a 60 degree bolt throw? The only ones i have found so far are the coopers and they dont sell actions separate.

i didn't know these existed and they are local even! Im definitely going to have to check out their accuracy and how easy it is to get parts for the rest of the rifle.
how would you compare these to the surgeon?

I spoke with Badger a few weeks ago about making an M2008 long action with .473" boltface.
They said that if they received a decent number of inquiries for them, they'd make them.
I'm in for 1...

Are they accurate? Yes.
Only "trouble" with the Badger is it's a bit heavy.

For the OP I think rangemaster precision arms (RPA) makes an action that's 60 degree throw.

Another question is if you want a repeater or single shot. I've seen 60 degree single shots, but not repeaters.

definitely a repeater. i want to build a bolt gun that cant be built in a semi. a short action case in a long action loaded long.
