A musician buddy of mine forwarded me this ad for the 60th Anniversary Strat:

I don't play the guitar, but I sure appreciate those that do it well - and that is one hell of an awesome list of rock and blues greatness (with a bit of country and pop that does not suck thrown in for good measure). Whomever developed that list was at least more than a casual fan of music; one has to be just a bit of a geek to throw in songs like Bob Mould's "See A Little Light", the Smiths' "Shakespeare's Sister", Mastodon's "Divinations", and Nirvana's "Endless, Nameless" to go along with some of the more obvious and better-known entries.

Robin Trower - Too Rolling Stoned
Eric Johnson - Cliffs of Dover
Pink Floyd (David Gilmore) - Comfortably Numb (greatest guitar solo ever IMO)

A lot of great music has been made with this guitar, just like the Les Pauls

With the Strat, you could mention EVERY tune recorded by Stevie Ray Vaughn and Jimmie Hendrix and most by Eric Clapton (he started with a Les Paul).
