6mm arc PRS gas gun division

Is this mpoi shift present for all AR-15s or are there some handguards that are less susceptible to it. Asking before I buy this Seekins mcsr v2

I think the vltor monolithic or LMT would have the least

It's there on all aluminum receivers that I'm aware of to include bolt actions like the MRAD. Some are certainly better than others. Seekins, Aero, JP, and others with the beefy front end cut it in half or better but there's still a couple tenths worth from front to back on the rail IME.

My 6 arc LMT shoots under .4 MOA for five shots.

I’m in the process of doing 6arc testing with 20” and 22” barrels. 1:7 twist. This will be for PRS gas gun division. I see many posts on 6mm arc and I’m wondering why I’m not seeing solid groups (1/2 moa or better) I want to shoot 105-109gn projectiles. I’m going to hand load. What success does anyone have with this? Post your groups, let’s talk.
sorry for the necroreply but I got a 20in bartlein 6arc that groups pretty consistantly .4-.6 with hornady 108 factory ammo... got a recent 10shot group I took with a new can that measures .46 and thats with me behind it. few 5 shots under .3 but again thats not telling one way or the other. not sure what others are doing but id bet the rifle would actually be closer to a .3 if I really got it sandbaged properly or had a better shooter behind it but haven't really focused on 100yd groups and more just distance stuff and positional.

😂🤣 if only there were. The search button on mine is wore out. All I see is light bullets, or 105 with lever and no posted groups. I find posts asking the same shit redundant too but I’m not finding answers. The bolt gun guys are doing great but not a lot of gas gun with heavies info that I’ve seen.
+1 on this. There doesn’t seem to be a lot of 6 arc gas gun load data on the Hide. Im still waiting for various parts and an Osprey barrel to arrive. Once its all assembled I look fwd to contributing some info to this thread/forum.

There’s a shit ton of load data. You need to use the search feature. You’re in the wrong thread obviously

Yeah I found a few in the reloading forum but there’s no pinned thread there for 6 ARC and there’s certainly no pinned thread for 6 arc gas guns. Ill make due.

Just go out there and start shooting matches. Don't worry about miniscule differences in accuracy. Your wind call and positional shooting ability matters far more than accuracy of rifle/ammo.

I've placed top 10 overall at qualifier matches with a 2 MOA rifle. With as few gas gun shooters in PRS anymore you stand a good chance of winning the division by just showing up. So far I'm the only gas gun shooter in either of the 2-day matches I'm signed up for.
