Sorry for the stupid question...but how the heck do you tell type 1 from type 2. I bought the JP Enhanced bolt for 6.5 Grendel. Their site doesn’t state if it is Type 1 or Type 2.

1/2 truth, depends on how person chambering barrel cuts chamber.
Either bolt can be used, just needs to be accounted for when cutting chamber.
Most places will probably cut chamber for a type 2 bolt.
Definitely a question to ask when getting a 6 ARC bbl, just to be certain.
