Hey all ... I need to purchase some 6mm creedmoor dies and I am looking for suggestions. Please let me know what works what doesn't and if there are any stand out products I need to know of?

Cheers

You can’t go wrong with Forster for the full length and micrometer seating die. I use a Redding neck sizing die and it works well. Have been trying to find the Forster bump neck sizing die for 6 creed for several months. Can’t find it in stock anywhere.

I'm actually having perfectly good results with Hornady FL 6 creed dies.
I know guys love to hate them, but I'm getting 1/4 moa and so far have 10 reloads in my ADG brass
I have had decent luck with their 308 dies too. If all variables are equal I prefer the micrometer seater of redding over any other that I have tried. I have a forester seater, although I haven’t used it yet so time will tell

I've become a big fan of Redding dies and look for the Master Hunter set. If the caliber that I'm looking for is not available in the Master Hunter set I buy the 2 die FL set and purchase the competition seater separately.

I was/am tempted by Whidden dies but there has been a lot of bad press about their QC. For the cost, QC should not be an issue, in my opinion.

6BRX+ custom sizer
6BRA
never an issue...theres not a company in the world that can make everything perfect every time and all that matters is how they take care of issues if/when they arise.

I think some don’t distinguish between custom grade vs match grade sets. The custom grade has a crap decap/expander rod design, whereas the match has imo the best decap/expander rod design. I haven’t measured a lot of custom grade dies, but the match dies are spot on, and have Whidden level internal finish, for half the cost(of Whidden or Redding). There are some valid gripes agains the seaters, match or custom grade, but at least they’re very cheap.

I haven’t been impressed with a set of Redding dies in a very long time. Overpriced mediocrity.

If reloading SR Lapua brass or something else with a small flash hole you have to have the smaller de-capping pin. I learned that lesson the hard way.

How do you feel about RCBS?

I just started loading 300 PRC and the options for dies were limited availability. I tried the RCBS Match Master seating die, and I love it. The consistency is phenomenal, and I think the side cut out is awesome because it perfectly centers the projectile when you raise the case to seat the bullet.
