I think 90% of the 6cm guys are using 105 berger hybrids.
they wont feed in my semi so I use 105 hornady boatail match.
some guys use 115 DTAC but they are hard to find.

Just thought Id put up whats worked for me.
44.0gr H4350 with 110SMKs .020" off the lands and CCI primers. Running 3085 out of a 22" 7.5T barrel and I'm at 6.2mils to 1K. Group size is consistent 1/4" or better. These are my new go to bullet for my 6 creedmoor.

.183 freebore. Always had luck with the standard ptg 6 creed reamer.
Holy shit I wouldn't run 44gr of 4350 with a 110. Thats way past being a hot load.
I wouldn't advise starting there at all. Ive run up to 45.2gr till I got pressure signs in 98 deg sunny weather. Every gun is different though...my other 6 creeds would top out at about 43.8ish...my AI tops out over 45.
regardless of bullet weight/selection and powder charge though I always seem to find my accuracy node right at 3085 using 22-24" barrels. Not sure if that is coincident or there is more to it but thats been my findings.
Sierra just published load data for 6mm and 6.5mm bullets (see https://sierrabulletsblog.com/2017/1...oor-load-data/). They list 40.9 of H4350 as the max for the 110s. I'm sure that's a conservative number, but it is a point of reference.
Finally got around to screwing with the SMK 110.

I loaded up 20 rounds at 42.2 to shoot some groups. 10 were at 2.873 COAL, second 10 were 2.853 COAL. Accuracy at near max magazine length was between 3/4 and 1 MOA. The longer jump was noticeably better averaging 1/2 MOA, picture of the best 4 round group below.

i was trying to keep it light to keep recoil real low off the barricades and extend barrel life. don't feel the need to go any faster. this bullet still is only 6.7 mils to 1000 yds
The alpha brass is just awesome, but a little thicker than others, so pressure/speed is a little higher.

my dashers loves jumping .080" ... anything closer really opens up the groups.
Shoots the same whether it's 40.2 or 40.9grs, seating depth doesn't matter as well, they all put 3 in a small group and 2 out @200yds,, why, I don't know.
Any updates? About to start load dev with 110s in Hornady brass with H4350 and CCi BR2s.
Just loaded a few up to try in a 1-8 I got from Josh but will have to wait for the freezing rain to stop here first.
Did some load dev today going from 39.0-42.5 gr of H4350 in Hornady brass with CCI BR2s. Topped out at 2945 fps though at 40F so gonna load up some more going up to 43.5. Would like to find a node in the high 3000s. Barrel is a 1-7.5 26" Hawkhill M24/M40
Is the case capacity of the Lapua brass smaller than Hornady?

I put my test on hold as I am trying to get ready for a local match Sunday and its all I can seem to do between work to get some good data on my 105s since I just put new barrel on last week,but plan on trying them further in upcoming weeks.
I have my 6 Creed coming pretty soon and this thread is very helpful. The 110 SMK seems like it was made for this caliber if you have a 7 or 7.5 twist barrel. I have been stockpiling Reloder 16 (shoots awesome in my 6.5) so hopefully I can find a load that works with it. This forum is easily one of the more helpful and knowledgeable forums I have been a part of.
That much jump, eh? I have mine at .020" and so far I've barely shot a group over .5 moa but the SD and ES seems to fluctuate a bunch. Anywhere from an ES of 12 and SD of 6 to an ES of 34 and SD of 17 for a same charge weight. I don't think that I can fault my reloading practices as I'm not really doing more than chamfering and deburring new brass, priming it and weighing charges. Thinking that fireformed brass should bring the numbers more in line with what I like to see...
It seems to work well in mine. This load also shot well with .020" jump but not quite as consistent. Another thing is .020" jump made my load pretty snug in AI mags.
Also my brass is annealed.
I tried out H4350 and it shot some great groups but my ES and SD were not very good. But every rifle is different.
I'm gonna try out 2 more groups of each of the 3 most promising loads today in fireformed brass and we shall see. I even weight sorted some primers to see if that would cut down the ES and SD. I'll play around a bit with seating depth after that. At .020" jump I have tons of room in my Accurate mags with no binder plates. COAL is only 2.869". I'll post up my results. It'll be good to have a resource that we/others can look at for load data on the 110s. I kinda wonder why there is no sticky for 6 Creed loads?
So I've settled on 43.6 gr of H4350 in Hornady cases with CCI BR2s. That gives me an avg velocity of 3084 (fireformed brass in a 26" barrel @ 43F and 471ft) and single digit SD and an avg group size of 0.39 moa (@200 yards). I've loaded the last 31 fresh pieces of brass I have and I'll use them to verify dope out to 980 and then check velocity again with the last to see if the barrel has sped up as I'll be at about 120 rounds through it by then.
Just as a follow up. My barrel went belly up at 500rds running 44gr h4350 with the 110s out of a 22". Did load dev 2 more times after 500rds to try ans bring it back and it would last 30 rounds tops before beach ball sized groups again.

I can't believe you could shoot 44 gr of h4350. I have a 7.5 22" bbl and had ejector swipe and tight bolt lift at 42.5 gr. It's crazy how different rifles can vary so much.
Agreed I would have thought it was gunna be high too but I had zero signs until 45gr and at 45.2 heavy bolt lift/swipes. I always check my absolute max just to know where I stand with my development. Could have settled at 44.9 and would have had a problem in the rain or a 100+ degree day without ever knowing i was next to danger. Very important to test.
It is crazy how much variance there is between rifles. I never went higher than 44.2 but had zero pressure signs. I'm hoping I get more than 500 rounds out of 43.6, that's a lil too short for my tastes, haha.
My velocity jumped up from 3080 to 3120 and has been steady there since about 170 rounds down the pipe.

After talking with a buddy of mine (who has lots of experience with 6mms) during the ELR match, I decided to look for a slightly slower load. He was saying that even if you don't have any pressure signs, a heavier load like what I was shooting, in his experience, seemed to burn out the throat faster and you were left re-doing load dev every few hundred rounds. Went out today and shot 2x 3 round groups of 3 different charges in 0.2 gr increments that prior testing led me to believe would give me a velocity in the low 3000s.
42.2 H4350: avg group size of 0.31 moa, 3042fps
42.4 H4350: avg group size of 0.25 moa, 3043 fps
42.6 H4350: avg group size of 0.40 moa, 3060 fps
All loads shot to same poi so I settled on 42.3 which should give me some leeway.

1:8 My wife has been shooting the 110's since they were released in a 1:8 twist Benchark from a BRX. They hammer at 2920. Never an issue on stability.
I get 3050 from my 1:8 twist 6 creed; 41 grains of h4350. 26" Krieger.
