If you know of this question being answered elsewhere on the forum please gently guide me to it.
Could you guys please share with me some of your success “recipes” for a 6mm Norma BR cartridge? I will be shooting a Savage Model 12 Target rifle (F-Class). I know that every rifle is different but I can use some of your found data for incipient personal development. I learned that most have had success with Varget and/or RL15. Well, I could not put my hands on those yet. I have however, N150, H4895, and IMR 8208XBR (which I read others had success with). You can write the seating depth and bullet used as well. Thank you and happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.

You don't mention what bullet you want to shoot, makes a little difference. There is one powder out there that is available for 6br, through most weights of bullets, it's Norma 203B. It wont give the most velocity in any weight class, but it's a clean and very stable powder.

For 105 and above, that N150 might just be perfect.

Varget gets alot of attention in 6 br with the heavies but.... Norma203b is supposed to be the cats ass. I have 8 lbs of it that someday i will use up. H4895 is pretty good, and imo works better then varget. I use it with 108 berger in a 12 f class at 29.0 gr with br4. In a criterion barrel i use 29.5 gr with 105 hybrids, yields 2925 fps and shoots stupid accurate while still showing low teen ES and low single digit SD.

with your choice of powders listed on hand and 105/107 bullets, it will be N150 the other 2 powders listed maybe better for slightly lighter bullets (70-90s) as they are faster burn than N150.
