I recently purchased a Redding 6XC micrometer seater directly from David Tubb's website. This seater uses a 30cal seater stem rather than the 6mm of a "standard" 6XC seater die.
The problem is, I'm trying to use the Sierra 110gr SMKs, and the bullet tips contact the seater stem - not the ogive. I called Superior Shooting and they said they wouldn't modify the stem.
Would anyone be be willing to machine the very ID of the seater stem for me? I don't have a drill press and don't want to mangle the thing with a cordless drill.
