I've read that there isn't enough case volume to use H1000 with the 6XC. Has anyone had any luck? I'm looking to load 115gr DTACs I have a 28in 1-7.5 with a .140 free bore and unlimited magazine length.

I am getting 2935 FPS with 47 grains of H1000 under the new DTAC in my 6 Creed. This load is very slightly compressed and shot out of a 28" 1:7.5 Bartlein barrel. I just got done with a match and need to get my speed again. I only had 99 rounds on the barrel before the match, and there is a chance I may have gotten a little more speed after the last 70 rounds or so.

I don't know what the difference is case capacity is between the 6XC and 6CM, but I do know that David Tubb has stated that his load in the 6XC is 45 grains of H1000 under the DTAC for something over 3050 FPS.

I'm shooting a 6 Creedmoor. I tested a load last Thursday. It was:

6 Creed alpha munitions brass
CCI BR-2
47.4 gn H1000
105 Nosler RDF jumped .060

I was crunching powder pretty good and had some pretty good pressure signs but my velocity was 3187 with a 10 fps spread. I won't be running that load. My gun likes 3140 fps range.

I talked to Tubb about it and he gave me the load he used, said he got around 2950. I've been working on finishing my stock for the rifle for the last few weeks, I should have it done and be able to test some loads on Tuesday.

Tried some H1000 today in my 6xc with converted Hornady Creedmoor brass. Shooting 107MK in a 26 inch Krieger 1.7.5 twist. 5 shot average was 2980. That is enough gas for me just need to work on the accuracy and SD. I just picked a charge 45gr. No signs of pressure and still had a little room to stuff some more powder in it. SD was high at 28fps but the brass is old and mixed on the number of firings.
