Tried the search but didn't find a answer. I'm new to bolt rifles so please excuse my ignorance. Can I use nato spec 7.62 in my .308 remmy 700? I know you can't use 5.56 in a ar chambered for .223 but wasn't sure about a bolt rifle. Thanks

The 5.56 in a .223 can be a problem.
Carefully chamber a live round and check for any sticking, binding, or anything unusual.
The live round should fall out of the chamber under it's own weight.
Do not force anything and use a cleaning rod to push it out if there is even a hint of sticking.
