Rifle Scopes 7.62x39 scope

Just curious what those with 300blk and x39 rigs are using for scopes? I put together a pig gun/fun gun in x39 and was going to put an older mtac on it but decided to look a bit. I see the primary arms has reticles calibrated for it but no first experience with pa as I'm more a burris guy with the occasional one off. Pretty open but of course, have a calibrated reticle is nice. so what's the hive using, thoughts, etc.?

If you have Strelok Pro or simular apps you can play with different reticles and loads. I use BDC reticles off caliber all the time. This is 6.5 Grendel SBR on Vortex Strike Eagle AR-BDC3

Here is same reticle with 7.62x39 and I played with the zero to get 300 to line up. 119 yards. Just zero at 300 with 300 bdc mark.

I have a vortex viper lvpo on an AK in 7.62. Its got the mil reticle because I've tried a few bdc and would rather just mil them.

The primary arms is popular with AK guys but most of them aren't really optics guys. They like the set and forget and ease of use with the BDC designed for the AK. There is also the "how accurate can steel case trash ammo really be" argument.

Is your x39 on an AR?

it is and agree with that sentiment in that, how accurate will it be with steel cased $hit. I do plan on buying some hunting x39 ammo and running her through however.

[Lowdown3]

Have the previously mentioned Primary Arms scope on an Arsenal milled AK and it has done well out to 621.

Most of our AKs have the 3X30 ACOG on it and can do the same distance.

And yes with crap steel cased ammo.
