7 mil high at 50m

Been unable to re zero my shv 4-14*50 F1 after changing mounts.

I am 7mils high at 50meters and seem to have bottomed out the scope.
I can go 25,5mils up, but unable to go down.

Blaser R93 22lr
Contessa zero tilt rail.
Spuhr sp 3001 no tilt.
Sk std +

When using the blaser saddle mount i was able to zero at 50m.
But could not get correct eye relief.

Have followed instructions. But like I said can't get lower. No matter how high og low i resett it.

You only get a total of 27 Mil of adjustment. 13.5 above zero and 13.5 mil below zero. You’re getting a little over 25 mils. Either NF lied about specs or you lost over a mill someplace. Check your zero stop. Hopefully you don’t have something going on with the scope itself isn’t broken.

Either your barrel is pointed ridiculously off center... or the rail/mount solution you're using is mislabeled and actually has a ton of slope in it.

It's also possible that specific scope is simply faulty and has a severe reticle alignment issue.

He's still 5+ mills off if he gets the extra 2.


Something is canted. I'd guess rings and base both have 30moa.

Turn the mount around backwards (I had to do this before to diagnose a problem) and remount the scope. Make note of how much or if the POI changes.

So I'll be the idiot in the room and ask... From the picture it looks like the back of the Sphur is not even on the rail. Is this the case or am I hallucinating?

but you still got hold under you can try and use . and there's always using the force you could try not sure it would work but you never know you could be the first . and are you quite sure you did not mount the mount on backwards ?

Didn't someone recently have an issue with a scope not adjusting properly when clamped that close to the turret housing in a Spuhr?

Ps it is an extended contessa rail for blaser. Nothing is floating

Here's the problem.
Back rail attachement not properly seated. Creating a fair amount of tilt

Corrected and zeroed without any issue afterwards.
