I also am wondering the same thing, your aluminum bedding block in the factory hs precision stock should be sufficient, at least

+1 On the whats it doing wrong/makes ya think it needs bedded.

Don't hear of those 5r's not getting things done right off. Mine does an only change to it was adding a detachable mag. Which it shot well before an after

Does the rifle meet your accuracy requirements? If it does then you dont NEED it bedded, you WANT it bedded. You dont need to remove any doubt if its working as intended.

kwak, consider bedding it yourself?!? The gunsmith section has some good bedding treads. Using that info I have bedded about 8 Remington’s and 2 Winchester’s now. It’s not that difficult.

And yes, I did notice a difference in group consistency in just about every case when using a bedding block stock like HS and B&C.

Consider bedding it yourself. It's not hard and saves a lot of money. If you want it bedded then do it. I myself want to squeeze every bit of accuracy out of my weapons and skim bedding is needed with the aluminum bedding blocks. Rifles and stocks are mass produced there is no way everyone of them is a perfect fit.
Oh yea, if I were going to pay someone to bed it it would be GA Precision, they are one of the best in the business.

Changed out the stock to a Manners then bedded by Louisiana Precision. Awesome work!!!
