700 dm?

I have a 700 BDL DM that is collecting dust, and am thinking about using it for a build.

Unfortunately for me, I have read that factory detach mag 700s have a different/larger cutout for the factory detachable magazine, thus you cannot convert these actions to BDL.

So....can anybody tell me if an aftermarket DBM (CDI, M5, even Wyatt M4) would work with a factory DM action?
