700 History Buffs

Can anyone Id this trigger? I know it’s a walker but like from what years? I’ve never seen one with the adjustment screw on the underside next to the bolt release. I’ve owned several Walkers and this one is different. I was able to adjust it down under 1# zero creep, zero over travel, and it’s drop safe

Badass! I found out the gun is a 1998 with an S code serial

Is it an XCR long range in 300WM 308 or 223? They came with the 40x, and had "Remington 700 Tactical" instead of "Remington 700" They had big wide flutes on the factory barrel.

I don’t know. I just got this gun off a trade deal. It has a Bartlein barrel and a manners stock right now. I think I’m atleast 3rd owner on it. 2nd in its current state. It just sat in the back of a guys safe and only has about 100 rounds down the tube

Holy truck axle barrel. The 40X is the most desirable factory trigger.

Yeah she’s a little chunky 14.25 pounds as she sits without a scope or bipod. My carbon Weatherby is only 10.25 with a heavy NX8 and an atlas
