Yeah, I know its a personal decisions and a highly subjective question but I am on the verge of dropping serious coin into a .300WM and now I am having second thoughts. I have a .22-250 and .308 but for some reason I just had to have a LA 700. I picked up a LH 700 .300WM with a Sendero barrel. I was about to put a BO base on it and pull the trigger on a NSX 5.5-22 with all the bells and whistles. I already have dies, powder, primers, brass, etc to reload for it. I just cant seem to part with another $2000 for something that does essentially the same as something I already have. My range is 600yards and have no place further to shoot. If I sell the .300 I think I would rebarrel the .308 to .260 and have the trigger done, receiver trued, etc. and drop it in a Manners stock, and still may have a few buck left over.
