Looking good. Back in Black.
I am currently braking one just like this one in. My setup: 700P 1:12 26" on HS Precision (identical to yours off the shelve).
10x42 SWFA glass (rear parralax) on EGW 20 moa and Burris XTR rings, Butler Creek snap caps.
GG&G bipod.
I broke the barrel in and zeroed indoors @50 yds. Groups about .5" at this distance using Black Hills Match and Prvi Partizan Match both in 175 gr.

i've got the same rifle. Itll do anything you need it to.

Just because it didn't cost 3K.

By the time you wear that barrel out you'll know for sure what you want out of your next custom!

I looked at all the off the shelve .308 match grade rifles and this was the only one that called out to me. During the 3 long distance matches that I attended, I've seen 4 custom rifles mailfinction due to bad reloads, flimzy "match" trigger groups, and overly tight bolt tollerances. None were Remis 700. Couple guys shoot real deal .308 M40-ies and get 460-480 score range (out of 500). If I had extra dow, I'd buy reloding setup and still choose this rifle. Once you go black...

I had a PSS 308 a few years back and it would shoot little over .3" @ 200M in a rest.
Today I broke in the barrel and the best (3-shot group) I got was a .292" and .412 @ 100yds with the bi-pod and no rear bag.
Looks promising. Un-ideal weather conditions with a rainy fog @ 50deg.
I think I'll keep it

Looks familar. What scope?

Handload with a 168gr MK over 42grs of IMR4064. These barrels do have long throats. This one is still a bit of a WIP as far as OAL to see what it likes

SWFA 10x42 scope.
I don't reload, unfortunately.
Mine seams to like Black Hills Match 175 gr BTHP. I had a group of 5 strung vertically to .6" with less than .125" horizontal spread, basically one line going upward. That's at NRA Headquarters 50 yd indoor range.

SARZAT Get the rifle bedded that group has problems if you are in an indoor range at 50 yards and have a verticle group also check the scope and mounts are secure should be better than that. Also stop using that Privi ammo it is crap and will help rust grow in the bore use the best ammo you can afford or reload.
