Recently I was finally able to get some 75 vlds and last night loaded up a quick test ladder not knowing if they would stabilize. As a note, my rifle is a 20" .223 sps tactical (9 twist) reamed to .223 AI that would not stabilize the 75 a-max.

Anyway, this morning it was a toasty 10 degrees so I headed to the range for some testing. Much to my surprise and joy they made clean and tightly clustered holes on paper. I had several 5 round batches using Lapua cases, Rem 7 1/2 primers, and 8208 XBR powder with charges ranging from 24 to 25.5 grains. The bullets were all seated .020" off the lands. The best group was .52" ctc and occured at the max load of 25.5. No idea on velocity yet.

I was ecstatic to find out these worked in my rifle, even at 10 degrees F. I look forward to doing more load development and will share my results.
