Join the contestFedex blows. My 77gr ammo was supposed to be delivered today. No joy.
Yea, see my above post with pic.
The box velocity is what I’d expect from a 5.56 pressure cartridge in a 20-22” barrel, so given your numbers it’s probably a 24” test barrel. The 77-gr stuff is slower than advertised. This is out of my 18" SPR. However, it's 1-moa accurate and clean burning.

I get 2847 out of a 26 inch proof prefit. Shoots lights out.
I love when pilots say this on the radio…. flying their C172… or even better adding in “we got them on the fish finder though” after saying no joyNo joy.
Shitty.FedEx disappeared most of my ammo. Norma shipped it by slapping labels on the 200rd cases, just one showed up.
The remaining tracking labels showed movement today, they never left the initial hub. Let’s see if I get bricks inside Norma cartons or my ammo.Shitty.
What happens now?
Same as mineThe remaining tracking labels showed movement today, they never left the initial hub. Let’s see if I get bricks inside Norma cartons or my ammo.![]()
Got my 200 rounds. As others mentioned. They just put a white transparent label over the Norma sticker.
I can see how this might cause problems.
Norma. The just slap “tamper proof tape” on the 200 round box along w a shipping label. Anyone can tell what’s inside.Maybe I missed it. Who's they and what kind of problems?
Just to be clear that is in the Temps above 65. In the cold of MN (20°) it's been as low as 2620.Decent MV for factory ammo. I have a 26" barrel too so hopefully I'm around there...
Thanks for the post. It Def. Looks usable for training, which I think is of interest to many people.Shot 69 grain and 77 grain from my AIAT with 7tw Muller barrel. Longer free bore for heavier bullets. ES was a little high, and the ammo is a bit slow, but it shoots good
I use mine for barricade practice at 400 yrs. I usually shoot a 4 inch JC steel square or a 6 inch round. Thanks for the post. It Def. Looks usable for training, which I think is of interest to many people.
You're so late to the partyNOT on sale anymore
I am, and i ain’t happy about it hahaYou're so late to the party
You're not alone...saw it at 11:30 on 5/31. Figured I'd wait till morning...I am, and i ain’t happy about it haha
Maybe but it is still fairly new and not as many people shoot it as compared to 6.5 creed6 creed just seems available and less expensive than imagined. Is it a barrel burner though?
If that’s so: https://rws-ammunition.com/en/produ...cartridges/rws-target-elite-plus-223-rem-5-0gNorma Sweden doesn’t produce a 77 grain .224 bullet. According to parent company RUAG Ammotec, the 77 grain offering with RUAG product number 8091005 is in fact the Sierra HPBT, i.e. Match King #9377.
See: https://www.ruagammotec.se/norma-15750-223-rem-5077-sierra-hpbt
Weirdly enough, Norma does not list this product on their website, at least not in the locales I bothered to check.
If I had to guess, I would say this is a Norma branded RWS product.
Quite possible.
Agree, I felt it was soft. Too much time in the SS tumbler removed most of the headstamp. All good I used them to make .20 practicals.I've seen certain cartridges at certain periods of time be a little soft but that's an impossible question to answer given how many cartridges they make brass for over decades of time. Some may be, some may not be.... only one way to tell
I ordered a case for break in of a new Krieger from BugHoles. Let me know how it shoots in yours.
