7mm Rem Mag

Well I used a sendero 7 mag sitting in a HS precision stock until the barrel was shot out. Sub MOA accuracy with hand loads, never tried factory ammo. That was an $800 option plus the scope, kept it far under $2,000.

The long range models appear to be excellent value rifles. Like any Remington, though, it'll be luck of the draw if it's an excellent shooter or pretty good. For the most part you can count on moa or better. Some will be hammers, some will suck.

Same experience. Shoots 140's to 162's very well.

Mine is still sub .75moa day in and day out. The last two 3 shot groups to confirm the load were sub .4 moa. I'd assume the 700 LR is on par.

Sako A7 Long Range Hunter..... It's a Cabelas exclusive. I have a hard time thinking of a better rifle for the dollar, and at $1,299, it's a steal IHMO. Handled one when I was in Cabelas a few weeks ago, and they are fantastic. Seriously, before buying a rifle get your hands on one of those, willing to bet you walk out of there with it. I already have a 7MM rem mag, but my buddy now owns one and loves it.

I have been trying to find some information on this rifle and what exactly the barrel is made out of and the different specs but can't seem to find any. I would assume this is a rifle that shoots under 1 MOA at 100 yards, but I'm interested in hearing what your thoughts are. Thanks

It's a blued finish, so I would assume chromoly, has the 3 lug bolt, 26" fluted barrel, bell & Carlson fiberglass stock with alum bedding block, factory picatinny rail, etc. feel free to shoot me a PM and I can get you my phone # for more specifics. As far as it shooting under sub-MOA, that shouldn't be a problem. sako has a 3-shot sub MOA guarantee, and by all the reviews it more than delivers on that. Of course there is ammo that it just "won't like", but my buddies rifle (A7 long range 7mmRM), my sako, and my Tikkas all are incredibly accurate. Like I said shoot me a PM and I can try to help with some more specifics, also there is a decent amount of info on the internet to help with your research and with others opinions.
