Range Report 7mm Rem SAUM F Class Open

Hi all i have been playing around with my new Lawton rifle i have chjambered an old 28" australian made 7mm 9 twist barrel to 7mm Rem SAUM the results i have got realy suprised me they do not come clost to what i have expected the load is as follows

The chamber reamer has the factory case specs but has been throated 200 thou for a loaded length of 3.150"
Rem 7mm SAUM Case
Sierra 175gr 7mm MatchKings loaded 15 thou into lands
CCI 250 Primer
67.5gr Retumbo (AR2225 Here in Australia)

Ok so i zero'd the rifle at 300 yards to get a 100 yard zero i would have to come down another 2.5MOA. so after shooting around 1/2" elevation at 300 we went back to 900 yards i wound up 16MOA thinking i was close but i was way to high on the target i had to wind back to 14.5MOA from 300 to 900 then on testing at 1000 yards the elevation is 17.75MOA that makes the elevation from 100 to 1000 yards only 20.25MOA this should not work out as the temp was around 50f and to make it work out the velocity would have to be over 3150fps and the BC close to .690

Anyway it is hammering with the elevation around 2" at 1000.

Just wondering what others are getting in their drops when pushing the 175gr 7mm MatchKings over 3000 fps and thanks Adam the batch of projectiles you sent are awsome

He wrote a great article in Precision Shooting on the 7SAUM for 1000 yard prone at Bodines..
I believe it was a 9 twist 30" heavy Palma Kreiger in a Mak sleeved SA 700.
I'm sure he has used it since and might have some good advice for you.
