I want to try my hand at this but have a couple of questions. I regularly neck up 220 Russian for fireforming to 6PPC but I am turning necks there. I just turn the neck down slightly into the shoulder and no donut forms. If I were to take 260 brass, neck up in steps to say 30 caliber and then neck down to 284 would that keep the donut from forming? I've tried anything that way and was just wondering if it would help.
I tried Nosler 7MM08 brass but the primer pockets seem to loosen after only one firing.
