Anyone know of a good load for 80 grain SMK. Shooting them at 500 and 600 yards in high power matches. Using an AR15 with Douglas 1 in 7 twist 20" barrel.

Start at 23gr and work up. Not all rifles/chambers are created equal.

Yup. I prefer Varget because I use it in both 5.56 and 7.62 loads.
Another is the old USAMU V8 load, 23.5 of VihtaVuori N135 -- but the VV powders can be hard to find at a reasonable price.
