80gr factory 2nds(hornady eldm and eldx)?

Ordered some factory 2nds recently. Hornady bullets obviously. 80grners. They were slightly labeled different so i ordered one of each. Assuming these are eldm vs eldx. Couldn't get any conclusive evidence from the hornady page with a cursory search. But am going to dig a little deeper for a over length as they are visually different. Anyone else have experience in the m vs x differences?

I understand the structural differences but visually don't know the difference if any.

The X's are about .040 longer, ballpark of 1.2" overall. More copper, more volume for the same weight, has to go somewhere.
