Hunting & Fishing 8yr olds coyote

I took my son out calling tonight for a little while because he wanted to try out the new 6x45 upper on the AR. We called in this guy to about 120yds and he dropped him in his tracks. I have some work to do with the upper as it is short stroking for some reason. I may have to send it back to Noveske to see if they can figure it out.

I built a 6x45 upper for one of my coyote rifles. Chances are the gas port it too small and was cut for a .223. It will need to be opened up some.

Thanks, he loves going out calling. He has been hunting with me since he was 6 and now does most of the shooting. PM sent on the upper.

Great to see the youngsters out doint it. I remember being that age and hunting at night with just a light straped to my head and a 22mag. Many rabbits fell to that gun. Too many kids dont get out and do that sort of stuff now. Most are scared of the dark too. Congrats on having such fun with your kids.
