I recently received my 9mm upper from JP rifles. It will go on my Q10 lower which is all assembled except for the stock. The question for which I need an answer is this: is there a folding stock that would work for this set up? I thought I read that a folder wouldn't work with this gun - is that just a "way out in left field" recollection? If a folder would be appropriate, any recs on which one to select?

Thanks for the input!

You can use the Law Tactical folding adaptor with a QC10 bolt but not sure of the design on the JP bolts. The hangup with 9mm bolts is they have a weight added to the carrier to increase dwell time and slow down the cycling of the bolt. That weight occupies the area that the spacer needs to go for the Law Tactical folder. I think the Law spacer is 1oz lighter than the weight in the QC10 bolt which can be made up for in buffer and spring choice. If you are going to run yours suppressed I would recommend the 9mm buffer from Heavy Buffers. Mine runs like a champ and is one of my favorite guns to shoot.

I run the law tactical folder on mine and a heavy buffer. The heavy buffer for 9mm is longer also. This helps the buffer from getting to much momentum and breaking the BHO.

It is a lot longer. The difference in length between a .223 case and a 9mm case. Yankee Hill make a 9mm that isn't quite as long, my daughters gun has that one and it works also. it is about a 3/8" shorter than the Heavy buffers one, but still an inch or so longer than a regular buffer I will see if I can get a picture and post.
