I was going to put this in the hand gun section, but since I'm ONLY referring to 9mm 147gr Subsonic hand loads WITH A SUPPRESSOR, I figured it would be better here.
For the guys running a can on their 9mm, and hand loading their own 147gr ammo.
I'm running a Glock 34 and Octane-9
I've had no issues with any of the factory subs that I've tried except for some flat nose that tend to not feed perfect.
The loads I've used are not cycling correctly. I got the load from a buddy that was using it with his USP and Tundra, but it's just not reliable enough with my host/can set up.
Right now I'm running 3.3gr of Titegroup and 147gr HP pills but I only get about 1 out of 5 to eject completely. The cycle fine without the can on.
I've gone up as high as 3.5gr and have better results, still subsonic, but still only ejecting 3-4 out of 5.
How hot have you guys using Titegroup gone with 147gr ammo? Would I expect diminished return from 3.6 or 3.7 or should I just seat a couple thousandths deeper with the load I've got?
I didn't see any crazy pressure other than increased gas blow back, but it's still not quite enough to eject 100% of the spent cases.
Thoughts?
