My Fudd paint job rifle will shoot with the SASS rifles, no problem.

Re: A deer sniper

I have two more it have taken pics of, but have not put on flicker. More pics to follow.

I won't change the title of my post. Most people who surf this forum are posers. I am what I am. I use the equipment types that I became familiar with while serving, to snipe meat for my freezer. Skill sets translate.

Fair enough, just don't like seeing people batted around, nice groups by the way, as Lone says we need 4 more and a pic of the rig!

Same load, different day, different target. The groups open to about .75 if the barrel gets hot. It will do this all day long. As long as I do my part. The trigger is less than stellar on it so you have to drive it right.
This target has .5 inch blocks, the first has 1 inch.
I will dig around for more pics, these I had on my iPad.

My youngest driving. He only gets onE round at a time. </div></div>

You forgot to provide him with eye protection!!!!!

Re: A deer sniper

Shoot a group with eye pro and then shoop one without it. Mine shift enough (wearing oakleys) to net a miss at range. It's like adding another plane into your scope and not a consistent one either...

I have never seen this problem. Not with Oakleys, ESS, Revision, or cheap glasses at the safety store.

Safety glasses should have no effect on the relation of the image of the crosshair in relation to the image of the target.

Safety glasses can and do often cause distortion in the total image coming out of the scope, but it does not change where you see the reticle.

I am not saying that YOU don't see a shift. It may be because the glasses cause you to change your cheek weld and as a result parallax causes a shift.

I don't often wear safety glasses because they do degrade the image from my scope and also because many models of glasses obstruct my view in a prone shooting position.

Re: A deer sniper

I do use them on the range and bird shooting. I don't when big game hunting, I spend to much time glassing and only shoot 1 or 2 rounds. I accept the odds of an event vs the ability to easily transit from glasses to cheek weld.
