I have a '56 mod 70 target in a '49 sporter stock ,this gun is my fair weather whitetail box stand 'Carlos Hathcock' bean patch ( to about 350 yds) hammer, Im not worried about hurting collector value as I have the bone stock Marksman stock the gun came in + it will never be sold by me. I would like the gun bedded, pillars installed and flat crown freshened up. I see Mr Roscoe is over in Louisiana and love his bedding post, I bought the accuglass kit but this one took me 55 years to get and I rather have a pro do the job. thanks in advance

Don't know what the range availabillity is like for you in Decatur, but after you get the mod 70 all finished, if you wanna stretch it out a bit, Gun Site Hills in Lexington Ga goes out to 675 yds. I go out there a couple times a month so feel free to give me a shout if you'd like someone to shoot with.
