Gunsmithing a Little bluing ..

This is a rifle I got to blue, pictures don't do it justice as it turned out very slick. a lot of sanding and then some vat work and waah la... her we are.

Yes, many hours of prep to make them look great. I hope to do a matte and satin finish on a few here shortly. That was a high polish.

Do you have bluing tanks or do it by hand?

Tank, and some shotgun barrels by hand. It all depends on the material the barrel is made of and if it has aluminum or braised anything on it.
