I was perusing SWFA last night and saw the cheezy cheezy BSA Sweet .22 3x9 x 40 with the drop compensating turrets.
It was $40! I thought, "even a broke-ass like me can afford optics for my goofy .22."
I know we really only care about $3200 optics here in this section but I may make a report for people just to chart my experience with it. I am curious about how they figured on the drop compensation (barrel length, scope height, velocity, etc.) and if my application will hold up. I plan on zeroing @ 50, and placing dot targets out every 25 yards to 175 just to see if the drop compensation really works.
Should be a cool experiment.
