Well, to be fair: squirrelAnd we were discussing about the funny cloud.
Picture is at Caney Creek Lake in North Louisiana. I must admit, the picture was taken in front of our home. Caught a very nice bass, Saturday evening, Between the thunderstorms. Though far in the country, it remains a very popular resort lake. We love to sail and it is typically the windiest lake in North Louisiana so that is where we put our little cottage.
As far as dry, I can’t even get off of the drive without deep rutting or worse, getting stuck. We have been under a flash flood warning for Forever, with thunderstorms rolling constantly across North and South Louisiana. Y’all are begging for rain and we are drowning.

Alligators are hunted on the north part of the lake way back in the end of the deep coves. We live on the south side and still have the occasional beaver. The word is, if you have beavers, you don’t have alligators; beavers being a favorite food of alligators.
That tv show. They really lost me when they showed the fellows going out hunting for a turkey on Thanksgiving morning. We knew then what we long suspected, that the show was pretty much the definition of what comes out of the north end of a south bound bull. In Louisiana, we only have Turkey Hunting Seasons in the Spring.
