Just in the last week, 5 phone calls for an extended car warranty for an auto I no longer own. Three phone calls from the SSI office claiming my SSN had been used in a fraudulent money laundering scheme to which I am fiscally responsible for and my SSN had been "suspended". 4 emails claiming my hotmail account, paypal account, I-Tunes account and Amazon account were under review and suspended. By the way, of the four I only have 1 account. Oh yeah, one of my relatives was "killed" in the plane bombing over Lockerbie and was entitled to a huge monetary settlement which is impossible as my entire family tree is sitting in the room with me now. But I am related to some Nigerian prince who wants to deposit an ungodly amount of money in my bank account if i provide him with my address, SSN, bank routing number, birth date, my first pet's name, my mother's maiden name and what year the 1967 Cardinals won the World Series. It all seems legit to me, but it does prove PT Barnum right with "There is a sucker born every minute"
But, it looks like either you or hotmail on your behalf flagged the email alerting you to that conversation (the one about the foundation from Winnie)as “abusive site sending unwanted emails.”
Basically, you won’t be receiving any emails from snipers hide on your current email address. You’ll need to provide a new one.

Maybe Hotmail flagged the SH monthly newsletter as spam and this triggered some weird techie response.
Basically it means you are using a non 2a friendly email provider. There was some info on it in the SITE CHANGES thread.
Yahoo is doing the same thing sending all 2a receipts and info to my spam folder ,then if i dont mark it non spam it sends a reply to the sender its generating spam.

Yes I did it seemed speculative as in either you or hotmail on your behalf. I doubt he did it since he is here complaining about it. As far as hotmail that's what I use and get emails from SH and a million gun related sites with no problems. So the idea that hotmail is conspiring to destroy 2a sites seems unlikely . So that leaves a possible scam as in was there a click here button to resolve this. I get scam email all the time that looks like it's legit till you see the typos, this account was suspended please click here blah blah blah. They get deleted immediately. Anyway that was my take on it. Is Mcubed an admin? If so then maybe he can clear it up. Did not mean to step on any toes.

An admin PM’d him here that he won’t be receiving any emails from the hide because he or his email provider reported hide emails as abuse reports.
As in a real person PM’d him here on the hide and made typos. That account is a tech account or admin.
It happens.
Just because you use hotmail now and it works is no guarantee it will keep working.
The algorithm will catch up to you.
Its not like they flip a switch and block all 2a from you.
It collects information and then if the info fits parameters it starts to filter and then reject incoming emails.
