So is the m2008 the same foot print as the AI AE?

We wanted to do an AE stock, it's a nice action. Unfortunately with how the trigger is set up, it just won't work in our chassis. It is a round action so is different footprint than a M2008 as noted above. Honestly the only reason I can think of right now to get an AE over the Badger M2013 action would be the shroud mounted safety on the AE gen 3 which I personally like better than the Rem safety for some strange reason. If you get the Badger then you will have a whole host of stock options.

The AE is bolted in, the AW is bedded/bonded. This thread has me interested in that I too have looked at the AI AE/AW but I don't want to drop that kind of money and be stuck with that stock.
