a5 ish stock for AI AE?

I have seen AI AEs in McMillan stocks. I like you, have found myself looking at the AI stock as the one part of the rifle I liked the least. After having a few AEs and AWs as well as over a dozen AICS chassis rifles, I never "loved" the stocks but instead just tolerated them. To each his own they say, but they are a solid and well thought out platform that changed the way stocks are built and designed, but they are not for everyone.

I do believe there was talk of KRG making a W3 to fit the AI AE. You could also buy an uninletted Mickey and have a gunsmith mate it to an AI. The trick will be bottom metal.
That there is a single shot AE FTR rifle in a PSE composites stock from Ireland.

We wanted to do an AE stock, it's a nice action. Unfortunately with how the trigger is set up, it just won't work in our chassis. It is a round action so is different footprint than a M2008 as noted above. Honestly the only reason I can think of right now to get an AE over the Badger M2013 action would be the shroud mounted safety on the AE gen 3 which I personally like better than the Rem safety for some strange reason. If you get the Badger then you will have a whole host of stock options.

The AE is bolted in, the AW is bedded/bonded. This thread has me interested in that I too have looked at the AI AE/AW but I don't want to drop that kind of money and be stuck with that stock.
