<span style="font-weight: bold"> </span> What is the difference? Have noticed sights selling the V7 for the same price as the V8. Except the V8 at Triad Tactical is Out of Stock.

They should all be V8s, Accu-Shot is no longer making the V7s. The websites probably never updated the photo. Main difference are the joints for the legs. V8 are push button, V7 are not.

I have a bit of a sub-question to this.
Is there anything not mechanicly sound about any of the earlier versions of the Atlas? If I come across a V7 or any other model (are their any besides V7 and V8?) Ide probably want to buy based on the current supply/demand fenagle.

If you have a V7 you can send into to Accu-shot and they will convert it into the V8. Not sure on the cost but it can be done. I do have some V8's in stock but I do not have any BT10-NC's

Nothing wrong with the V7's. My V7 was 100% and I love it. I just decided to send it in and have it upgraded with the new hardware and added the V2 spigot adjustment. Kasey and company are great folks to deal with and I couldn't be happier. The Atlas is the BEST bipod I have ever shot with.

My V7 has been through 3 Rifle's Only Courses, taken a beating, and has had no failure. I will keep it just as it is. If you run across a V7, I would not hesitate to buy it, if I were you. Just my $.02.
