Awesome you got ATXs.I’ll just keep shooting my obsolete PreProduction/ Early batch ATX’s.
Ain’t that right @SkyScrapin
Can’t be crying about wanting your rifles “early”, only to continue b*ing about accessories not being available; or minor updates to the weapon system…

Looks like each got its rifle specific chassisTom,
Has any testing/fitting been done with the Tikka chassis and the T1X rimfire rifle (specifically, the mag well and mags)? Might make for a good 22 trainer, since the T1X fits the T3X footprint...
Not at this timeDo you plan to offer any other chassis styles (AT, AX etc) for the Tikka or anschutz?
We are not working on a left hand yet but will be later in the year after we clean up all of the current changes/improvements on the AT-X rifle and AICS.left handed any time 'soon'?
Gen 3 or Version 3 as we call it and Q3/2022. Hoping to ramp up production and improve delivery but Q3 to be on the conservative side.@tomirwin If I were to order today from Euro, what would the wait time be and what gen?
We are not working on it right now.Any news on the 6.5 prc for the ATX?
Ordered Dec 17th. When can I expect it to ship?Gen 3 or Version 3 as we call it and Q3/2022. Hoping to ramp up production and improve delivery but Q3 to be on the conservative side.

I cannot tell you that. We will continue shipping the second production lot in February after we all get back from the Shot Show and I expect that will take us through April.Ordered Dec 17th. When can I expect it to ship?
The only difference between Gen 1 & 2 is some internal chassis changes to make assembly easier. There is no external change to the chassis.@ Tom Irwin, can you comment if the pre-orders are going to be the Gen 1 or Gen 2 / when the model will change over?
Ok. Thanks Tom. So I’m looking at Feb-Apr. That’s not too promising but I’ll take what I can get.I cannot tell you that. We will continue shipping the second production lot in February after we all get back from the Shot Show and I expect that will take us through April.

ACU digital or you don't have a hair on your ass!
July 2022When do you expect the ATX chassis system to be available for delivery ?
The changes are as you state but we will be offering a rear with thumbscrews as an aftermarket accessory. Timescale for delivery is July and you will be able to order in MarchSo to summarize the differences:
Gen 1- 2 Allen screws per adjustment (cheek piece and LOP)
Gen 2- internal changed to chassis for ease of manufacture. Identical in function and looks to Gen 1.
Gen 3- single screw hole for each adjustment (cheek and LOP). Comes with thumbscrews instead of Allen set screws.
Does that sum it up? I assume the thumb screws can only be used on Gen 3 stocks since they have a single vs. dual screw holes. That’s unfortunate that Gen 1/2 owners can’t really upgrade without buying an entire new stock.
YesWhat about Europe ? Will be there gen 2 and gen3 of AT-X ? How to distinguish gen1 from gen2 ?
Maybe he was answering both of you...I just read that as AI is offering AT-X's in ACU digital July 22!![]()
I was answering the question about Europe and ignoring the other commentMaybe he was answering both of you...
Next on the list after 223 bolts and the 17hmr conversion kit.@tomirwin when are these going to be available in 308?
Could probably go heavy varmint if you wanted more weight but less than a straight contourIs the M40 profile still preferred way to go so that it doesn't touch the rail?
Ended up postponing my backorder to get the new Gen 3 stock. Can’t wrap my head around paying 5k waiting half a year and getting something that’s already outdated. Would be awesome if AI did some kind of upgrade program or discount on an AX buttstock or something but that’s wishful thinking.
It’s going to be a pain in the ass when cleaning for sure, but I’ll just do what I do with my Desert tech, take the barrel out to clean it.
Would be nice for AI to offer reduce cost for upgrades too the early adopters.
This is kind of funny... something that’s already outdated....
Classic AI. Comes out with product and can’t deliver it to consumers. I’m sure it is because of the virus.@tomirwin will my elite sand AT-X bridge backordered since June 2021 be eclipsed with a more elite version in the future?
Nope. I'd say the ES bridges are being delivered...Classic AI. Comes out with product and can’t deliver it to consumers. I’m sure it is because of the virus.
This will most likely be my last AI purchase because of this reason.
Glad you were able to get one.
Now I'm questioning if I want the chassis in ES or FDE. First world problems lol is ES closer to Vortex's shadow gold or whatever my razor is?
Agreed lolVortex's color is specifically designed to never match anything and always look out of place.
Akin to Army UCPVortex's color is specifically designed to never match anything and always look out of place.
Can anyone tell me where to find the part to make the stock fold.. I looked on EuroOptic and MHS, but couldn't find anything. Anyone have any experience?
