That's bad!!

Just traded a fellow Hide member in AZ for this AW with a 26" 308 barrel. Planning to pick up the barrel change kit so I can swap to the 22" 6.5CM barrel in my safe. Also thinking about changing skins and will probably run a few different scopes before I settle on which fits best. In the pic it's wearing a NIghtforce F1. This is the first AW I've handled and the action is truly amazing. Quite different than a Surgeon or Templar or slicked-up R700. I like those too but this is simply a different kind of beast altogether.

Hey guys,
I'm just getting into the distance shooting game. This is my current project. I bought a Remington 700 AAC-SD .308 and mated it to a ACIS 1.5. I went with a AAC flash suppressor, Vortex Viper 4-16x50mm, and a Atlas bipod. I'm going to have the barreled action cherakoted FDE. Also, have plans to flute the barrel, and add a monopod. The thumb wheel screws and sling by AC are in the mail, and should be here tomorrow. I haven't shot it yet, but hopefully it'll be a nice shooter!

one more. He did it and the Spuhr mount RAL8000 to match the S&B 5-25x

This rifle has spoiled me. I picked up some Federal Trophy 165 gr Barnes TTSX to hunt with and have been shocked at how well it shoots in the AX. I'm talking on par or better than FGMM.

My girls at 3-1/2 and 1 year anniversaries

Not much to say-- just stock shooters.
If you're going to beat on a stump, might as well use a good hammer!

Stuck the DBAL-I2 laser on the side of it just for ridiculousness. Here's a photo from the range today sighting it in for the first time.. very impressed so far. Also what it looks like in standard AICS skins.

A bit of AI fun from the first day of the new year:

If one looks closely at the first picture, some really interesting patterns in the snow can be observed as the result of muzzle blast.

very nice, but why did you take the top rail off the forend out of interest?

The various scope/ring combos that I've used on the AX don't have enough height to clear the forend rail (especially with the bulky Tennebrex caps on the S-B PMII), and I don't have an NV unit so the rail isn't needed.
