works like it should. wish it were ai keyslot so i could use those accessories / top rail, but its a good setup. i would get another for my axmc, but i may wait to see if i can get an axsr forend for it.

The Thunder Beast 338 Ultra SR came in this week, so the old Crux had to come off. Holy shit this can is quiet. Shooting indoors with factory Hornady 108s it’s very pleasant to shoot without ear pro. It’s definitely girthy though! Lol.
Took my son to the range today... He's absolutely shooting better now sporting that new AI cap!

Did a giraffe set the eye relief on those scopes? I swear I've never seen optics so far forward before! lol my neck has a crik in it just from looking... Also, are you actively adopting? I am up for adoption... I will be a good son 
I must be long necked! They are set at the moment for bench shooting. Easy to move if need be.

Please enlighten me. I heard that AI barrel used to be made by CHF. Is this still the way they create their barrel or have they switch to something else? And if they did, was there any noticeable increase in precision?

Is AINA making hats again? I sent them an email about a month ago and they just said that they were considering it. I ended up buying a patch online and had it sewn on. I would rather have a factory hat. thanks

Positional practice on 12” plates at 585yards. I changed up my training today. Instead of running 1.5min mock stages, I ran a mock stage, but built a position for every shot.

Yeah. I got mine on eBay from a seller then eBay pulled his listing. It took about a month to get mine once I ordered it. Good quality though but I would rather have a factory hat.

Everyone talks about how HK never listens to their customers but AI takes the cake. They need to buy a vowel OR not go after people for producing a fucking hat. I love their equipment but their CS leaves a lot to be desired

True, but we aren’t their target demographic man. They let their distributors handle the CS side, which makes sense when you take a step back and see it from their side. Gov contracts are best ways to make it rain.
Maybe not but when they don't win a solicitation, who do they rely on to get a return on their investment? It isn't like we are asking for a new type of rifle. All we want is a few lousy hats and shirts AND we are willing to pay for them. They can outsource the whole deal and just capture the net proceeds.

You spend thousands of dollars on a product because you are proud AND it is also advertising!! In the grand scheme of things...especially an international company, this should be a no brainer.
You guys are right and I agree, I’m just trying to look at it from the other side. It’s also AI, they kind of don’t need merch advertising at this point. That said, everyone loves swag from the brands they spend money on, especially when it’s more of a rarity. Even if they had a closed order system, where you’d have to submit proof of ownership in order to make one merch purchase per year, it would be cool to see.
