Put my 16.5” 308 barrel on with my can. Hopefully hitting the range again soon. Need to zero with the 308 barrel for class with @lowlight and @Enough Said next month.

Actually @samb300 upped it to its current length before I ordered my rifle and this barrel. Had he went longer I would of just got a longer 308 barrel to work with it. But I love my little shorty. So I’m happy he went with what he did. But boy does it make it fun to change the barrel. lol.@RS14 , so YOU'RE the reason we have a 'short' handguard!
I’m right there with ya man. My SBR the suppressor is just about flush with the hand guard. And my 22Lr trainer. The suppressor is actually in the mdt acc forend
It's the Q Cherry Bomb and the Q Plan B adapter for the Omega suppressor. It makes a very light weight suppressor combination.

I tried the FGMM 300NM 215 Berger factory ammo. I bought it at $2.12 a round shipped. It comes with Norma brass.
i put all 5 on the plate at 528 yards. It was windy as hell and about 70 degrees. 3000 feet above sea level.
avg 3010. SD 21. ASR 27 inch barrel with 15 rounds on it.

Mounted a S&B 5-45 on this today and shot it for the first time. AX50 Elite Sand used the built in mono-pod and a Cadex bipod. My son's first go at a 50.

Finally upgraded my AI ATs glass. I was running a NF F1 3.5-15 for close to a decade on my old AE and transferred it to my AT when I got it last year. Decided to finally upgrade the glass. Shout out to the guys in the optics sale forum. They been having great deals on Schmidt and Benders for the last 2 months.

I have a few Elite Iron Bipods now, pictures above on the AXSR 300 WM. It's a non panning model, all steel. Just the standard pic rail connection. You just mount it to the bottom as shown in my pics. One of the best bipods I've used.
Just got the 50 version but didn't try it out yet on my AX50.

Hows the kick on that 50 or does that rifle have some weight to it ?
That barrel is most likely spec’d for the AWM. Those are the smaller thread pattern. There is no commercial magnum bolt for a AX308.
It's not bad at all. Like a steady slow push. The whole rig moves quite a bit, but nothing terrible.
Not sure what the weight is maybe about 30 lbs with the scope.

My PSR with a SFP conversion bolt assembly and 6.5 creed tube. I still have yet to shoot it with any of the barrels that came with the kit. I swapped the Badger mount out for the Spuhr off another scope yesterday.

5h is solid for prone work, I used the standard Atlas PSR model on the AXMC and never had issue but loved the size and capability of it. I plan to use the PSR on the AXSR as well. There are many good options out there though.
That is indeed a fantastic bipod. However is about twice the price vs the Atlas H5 (at least for what I can get it) and impossible to get in Europe...
Also check out the Tier One Evolution bipod and the Spartan Valhalla bipod which should easily be available for you to get

I had one and got rid of it. Stable as hell, worked a charm. That said it hard to alter tension on the fly and found it rattley and annoying. Very loose fit on the spigot unless you crank it all the way down..... which you need an Allen key if it’s the 12 o’clock position so not particularly practical.

My used AXMC arrived, my first long action. I changed the 300WM barrel for a 300 PRC. Deciding if it will wear a Deadair Sandman-L or SOCOM 7.62-RC. Now, if I could only get some ammo.

Welcome to the club, an "oldie but goodie" for sure, AI's flat out shoot - old and new. If you're anywhere near Colorado, I'm setting up an AI "Fun Shoot" out near Beuna Vista on October 4th. Don't worry too much about "worthy" glass, you can put a Vortex PST II on there and it'll shoot, image may not be as nice as a TT, but the point is to hit what you're aiming at, and most decent glass can do that today.
That would be a fun shoot! Unfortunately im nowhere near there. The deal i got on this thing from Mile High is too good to print. I got lucky for sure.

I have a MKIII that has the more AT style skins and was looking to change the skins out to the earlier MKIII/MKII style skins and was wondering if anyone knew a good source for something like that?
Try Mile High. Mike found me a set of dark earth skins for one of my AW's. They are getting scarce though!
Oh.... and maybe try Tac Pro Shooting in Mingus, TX. He has a lot of extra parts in the back room still I believe.
