Accuracy International Picture Thread

No no no. With my 6.5 barrel I have cleaned KYL racks at 800-1000 yards in competition. I put the 308 short barrel on this year to really learn the wind. I still find it super cool for first round impact at 800+ yards holding .8-1.2 mils of wind on the 308.

What sizes are the kyl at 800-1000?

Was looking at buying a 8-7-6-5-4-3-2 inch and putting st 400 but maybe it should be father

Thanks. I’ve read a couple people successfully adjusted it.

Also read some people fubared it

Have a new comp trigger sitting here but half the reviews say unreliable amd half say they are great. $500 for unreliable isn’t cool.
I wouldn't say unreliable. I never had any issues with reliability but then again, I only used the heavier spring set and not the lighter one. I don't even think I got a lighter spring

Ive had my comp trigger for about a year now. Idk what spring mine has in it and i haven't weighed the trigger pull but it feels like its around 1lb for the first stage and 1lb for the second, maybe a hair less. Either way, i didnt dick with the sear adjustments and have yet to have any issues at all so far with thousands and thousands of pulls on it. Knock on wood. I feel 100% confident in it.

At 800 it’s a 50% ipsc, 10” plate, 8” plate, and 6” plate. 900 and 1000 are full size IPSC, down to 33% ipscs. All kyl racks have a 100% ipsc right next to it as well. I didn’t want to spend the money on joining this range but one time out, it already paid for itself, in my opinion. Ok now back to more pictures.

GOT MY GUYS, Thanks Everybody!
Not exactly AI related, but my only bolt gun is an AXMC , and you know I luv you guys so... I need 2 volunteers, again, to give me some feed back, ya'll know the drill..lol only stipulation is you need to have NF ATCR's of some type mounted on your AI's.
I have printed covers for the protecting the twisty vitals against incidental impacts while in the safe/transit and or rain and nasty conditions on the range when your not running the bolt and letting the suppressor cool down lol. They are snap on/off. First two with mailing info gets to be the Guinea pigs. You can choose either orange or black.

Dude I would love something like this for hunting when my rifle is strapped to my pack or on the horse bouncing around, for peace of mind if nothing else. Cool idea.

one week until I come home from deployment to this. Has the 338LM barrel that I’ll have my buddy clean the chamber up with a 33XC reamer.

I got one three years ago. Here's what I learned:
Store it with the stock closed. You'll need the room for a Kilo2400, bats and a can.
The muzzle brake is PERFECT to fab a QR can, study it, you'll see what I mean.
Get a Spuhr scope mount, it can be QR, but you'll re-zero everythime when its removed, it also has ant-cant.
Ammo was bad enough then (S&B 250 for 2.69 a round, $5 something for FM), good thing it doesn't take many.
5 & 8 round mags are perfect, Only get 1 or 2 20 rounders, defensive mags only from a kneel.
The scope..........god that's a chapter. The SF sniper I got it from said no S&B. Said his failed him on a mission. Those guys ARE superstitious.
I got a Valdosta Recon because i can dial down to 100M, then dial out to 1700M. AND, I can make out things in the shadows.
Where the BG's are. That 44mm tube is huge. Some guys on here don't like them because of past warranty issues.
Then there's NF, Leupold, Tangent Theta and Vortex but I have no experience on their High Power stuff.

DAMN...missed out. I have a 7-35 ATACR on my AT.

If you make a 3rd, I would love to try it out with your other creations

Got the GTAC grips installed wished the Ergo DE was darker colored. Also a couple of Mag paddles thanks pfl338.

Looks great man.
I think it was mentioned before in the other thread, but how does the thumb rest feel with the GTAC compared to stock? Still let you float it naturally/comfortably?

How do you like the dominus versus a 338 ultra or ultra 9 or whatever you have ?
The 338 Ultra is stupid quiet and light, it is a bit long though. The 338 Ultra is about perfect on a 20-22” barrel. I have been kicking around the idea of picking up a 20” barrel and running that this season with the 338 Ultra. If I could figure out how to load videos on the hide I have one shooting the 338 ultra and the chambering, firing pin going off, and brass hitting concrete is louder than the firing.

I havnt shot the Dominus yet, I will this weekend, but it is at home on shorter and longer barrels. It only weights 5.2oz more than the Hellfire, which is 4.2oz. So for thicker countor barrels the weight is negligible and the rifle handles like it would braked as its only 6-1/4” long.

This might be blasphemy in the AI thread but my LMT MWS with the DOMINUS comes in at 15lbs and 2oz with a Atlas Cal and is super handy.

It feels like GTAC grip sits a little farther forward than stock to me. Yes I find it very comfortable when resting my thumb on the rest.

Yea... Everytime when people hear my 338 ultra sr they are like wow that's the quietest can I have heard... Love that thing

@M4guru @deersniper They did away with the master race color...sage green. I guess I’ll have to convert to Elite Sand or Red.

@reubenski We were talking about this the other day. Folder + weights + enclosed forend is going to be close to $1k once tax and shipping is included. I don’t even want to think about the ASR backend. Not to mention that the rifle is available but the accessories are not listed anywhere, I suspect it might be some time before we see them.

I believe the technical term is “dried toothpaste”

Elite Sand is bad ass though.

Yeah this thing is gonna be $7k set up, pre-glass. Blow right by that if you’re not set on 6.5CM. All the little widgets are gonna add up. All of us that have $70 thumb screws on ATs know the struggle.

Juice probably ain’t worth the squeeze for me but you never know. I'm more of a “what’s on the wall at Mile High today” impulse shopper.

All of 7K for the short action, which really limits caliber choices....but in terms of a PRS style rifle the SA makes sense. I went to AI for the opposite listed above. The ability to shoot LA and SA in the same rifle. I could see myself getting the second gen at-x after they refine the first generation...update the bolt lugs like on the AXSR etc
