When you're a old tech, that amount of bolts, and parts is very minor compared to when you are taking apart a car or truck. Only hard part is the mag catch, since I needed a 3rd hand to tap down the roll pin. Surprisingly, it's actually a very easy gun to take apart.

When you drive 1.5 hours to shoot your cool new 7mm PRC barrel and bring the 338 bolt.
You can still shoot….. but have to eject the brass with cleaning rod. Same sh*t happed to me before lol.

the bolts are hard to come by, this is the current bottleneck. Bolt head installed on your bolt $275, installed on a bolt I provide is over $1k as a new bolt (with fire control) is 800 or so. The tenon is non standard geometry, so it would be better if we did the barrel. There’s a cone feature on the breech face

Yes, I've experienced this with their 140 ELDMs and 6CM 108 ELDMs - some lots were great, some were terrible.
I haven’t seen the accuracy change wildly like that. But I have seen the bearing surface change enough to affect velocity. I have an old lot that was 2725fps and new lot is 2770fps with everything else reloading being equal.
I had a couple lots during covid with 90+ FPS ES
ETA: the 140gr ELD-Match factory hornady ammo, not just the bullets.

What metric are you using to determine "value for money"? Reliability in what conditions? There are alot of questions you aren't asking or even answering from people mate. Now you are going and calling people names too. Just not necessary at all. You can't expect to come onto this particular thread and attempt to smash AI rifles without any actual explanation or experience. It is ok to no own an AI or even be able to afford one. There is a rifle for everyone and their uses or hip pocket. You are providing zero value to the thread.

I've no problem with someone owning an AI just because they want an AI but, aside from just being "what you want" how is it "easily worth the money" in comparison to the Tikka. What does the AI do that the Tikka didn't?

One anomaly mate. That's the only AI I have ever seen that happen too. It was on this thread too. I've seen countless tikkas and remingtons etc break.
We haven't gotten down to the cause of your issues though. Still no statistically relevant data from you.
What is your personal experience with AI rifles? Answering this simple question may give you a small amount of credibility.
