I've had as many as 3 barrels in one order(granted that was 3 different calibers). If your talking about a barrel burning caliber, I'd do at least 2 in a go.
Frank- I have already talked to Mrs. Claus , green light has been given, I repeat, green light has been given. Now I just have to remain nice and not naughty for 5 months.

You're my hero... and Mrs Claus is pretty nice too.
Does anyone know if you will be able to run a 308 bolt face long action caliber on one of these? I've tried to ask Eurooptics and Mile High, and neither know if mags will be made for the long action 308 bolt face calibers.
Seriously nice set up. That being said, consider this:
1. GAP 338 NM/LM custom job: $5200/give or take.
2. Surgeon 338 NM/LM custom job: $6200/give or take.
3. Other smiths offer the same set up for even less.
I know the PSR is more of a deployment kit, but $18.8k? What does it offer that the above-mentioned rifles don't in any given configuration? Caliber options? Buy another one (and another one) in the caliber you want. A guys gotta draw the line somewhere.

Yes you could buy 4 really nice custom rifle setups for the price of one PSR... but you still wouldn't have the PSR.

It's really one of a kind. </div></div>
Just me, but I'd rather have the four rifles. And I'm an AI fan.
I saw one today here in Colorado, very very cool, weighs about 50 pounds all together but at $15K plus, too much cash for me, sure was pretty though. The quick barrel change with just an allen wrench is amazing and yes the butt stock is unbelievable. Just ordered up an AW in 308 and will get an AX in 338 after that and even with S&B's on both, I should be in them about the same as this.
Just saw one up close and personal at MileHigh shooting. A very complete and well put together kit. If you wanted just one gun to do it all ....
I'm going to hold out for when they add the .223 or .22 trainer barrel
.
It will be interesting to see how much zero shift there is between caliber changes. Might be a good reason to top it with a Premier to take advantages of their quick change levered knobs.
$15200 is an incredible price for that package. It will cost you almost that much to have 2 AX rifles in nearly the same configuration and you still won't have that buttstock.
I Could sell all my other rifles and all but one scope and I Could probably about cover it. The Question is SHOULD I?
And whats this about a .223 option?
There is no .223 option. I was just joking around ... but what I saw today was impressive not the least of which is the custom case and all of the accessories that are neatly packaged up ready to jump with you out the back of a C-17 ...
If presentation has anything to do with things they did a really nice job. As lowlight stated it is a serious kit ...
